1. April 1 – 14. “From Ancient Egypt to Our Moment in History.” A series of seminars with Egyptologist John Anthony West and Cultural Historian Dr. Richard Tarnas.

2. June 4 – 17, 2007: “Consciousness, Nature, Biodanza
and Holotropic Breathwork”.


Dr. Dennis McKenna,
ethnopharmacologist, hosts two lectures: "What is not patented is prohibited: the criminalization of nature" and "Bitter Brews and other Abominations: the uses and abuses of some little known psychoactive plants.

Christos Daskalakos will lead four Biodanza sessions and will give lectures on: "Dances of Life - The origins, principles and outcomes of Biodanza" and "From the Big Toe to the Soul - Transformation through Movement".

Karen Helle Grue, will lead two Holotropic Breathwork sessions and will give a lecture on "How the Psyche Creates a Deeper Understanding of Itself Through the Language of Symbols. The process of lifting the curse of the loss of deeper connection to inner and outer reality, seen through the fairytale, 'East of the Sun and West of the Moon'.

3. June 25 – July 8, 2007: “Shamanistic Consciousness:
The Exploration of the Supernatural and Its Role
in Human Evolution”.


A series of lectures by Graham Hancock, writer, and Santha Faiia, photographer. Fifty thousand years ago humans had no art, no religion, no sophisticated symbolism, and no innovative thinking. Then, in a dramatic and enigmatic change, the skills and qualities that we value most highly in ourselves appeared already fully formed, as though bestowed on us by hidden powers. How did this happen?

4. August 11 – 24: “Ayahuasca, Shamanism and DMT”.

Dr. Christian Rätsch lectures on "Ayahuasca and other Entheogens in shamanism and "Ethnobotany of Additives to Ayahuasca".

Dr. Ede Frecska lectures on "The Shaman’s Journey. Supernatural or Natural, How Can Shaman Talk with Plants and Animals and "Close Encounters of the Ancient Times and Spontaneous DMT Release".

Dr. Luis Eduardo Luna lectures on "The Varieties of the Ayahuasca Experience" and "From the Big Bang to the Big Brain. Jigsaws from the Big Puzzle'.

The fee for each seminar is $2,900 (US), everything included, except airfare: i.e. transportation from and to the airport, double occupancy, excursions, all activities, meals and laundry. The seminars include also several excursions around the beautiful Island of Santa Catarina, Portuguese lessons as well as other activities.
